I have spent, on and off, over one year looking for the ruck sack for me, then along comes the Simond Rock Bag. Love its simplicity (no compartment for a lap top) and one large 35 litre space. I like the material used and the good quality component parts. For the record, I am a contrarian who hates and refuses to own a car, it is therefore necessary for me to have a bag, a rucksack, whatever, to cart shopping back home. The Simond Rock Bag fulfils that need - maybe more litres would be better.

When I came across this bag in Decathlon in Malaga.... we bought this and the spider bag.
Its so comfortable to wear and light.

I bought this bag to use for climbing, as a gym bag and for traveling. I wanted a bag that I can open and easily access my gear. Another reason was the fact that in the description on the site under Flexibility it says that it has tuck away shoulder straps. Unfortunately the 35L version doesn't have that option. It seems like it was available on the 30L, which is discontinued.
