    Overally good but bad breathability

I bought these pants for colder autumn hikes and winter skitouring. I find the pants very durable, with good shape even though the knee part is below my knee, enough water repellence and reasonable price. The only very bad thing is breathability. I usually wear my merino underwear during the skitouring, but my tights and ass are always totally sweaty. I always open ventilation zips, pocket zips and even middle zipper, but it just does not breathe.

Great but a couple of flaws

The colour of the pants is not the best for sunny days on snow, as they end up feeling like an oven due to the black colour absorbing all the heat and then will feel cold when in the shade. A grey colour would be a more suitable alternative. The second flaw is the built-in gaiter which doesn't stay on the back of the boot. An elastic band (or similar) to put under the sole of the boot would be useful to keep it in place. Apart from that they're great, both for mountaineering and ski touring.
