    Fantastic Value for Money

Worn this jacket for multiple trips into the Scottish hills, works really well. Two suggestions to improve it. Move the pockets onto the chest so they don’t get fouled by the hip belt of a rucksack. The hood needs a drawcord to fit it close and ideally round the neck. Have found the merino wool head band works really well to insulate the neck when teamed with this jacket. Value for money is unbeatable for the quality of this gear.

One addition would make for a perfect soft-shell

Further to my earlier review, I've worn this jacket for one year and one simple addition would make for a perfect jacket. This would be a bungee drawcord on the hood, as when windy and not wearing a helmet the hood flaps in the wind. this would also allow you to pull down and close any gaps around the collar trapping body heat and stop it flapping when not wearing a helmet (ski touring) My previous comment of a wired peak isn't necessary as the stiff peak is adequate just attach a bungee cord, sees any Rab soft shell for examples
