Additional information

Thermal insulation
Duck down 90% down and 10% feather with a fill power of 700 Cuin (IDFB standard). Jacket's assembly is 3D partitioned. *Duck down traceability is guaranteed by the “Responsible Down Standard” certification. This allows us to guarantee that our down comes from ducks raised for their meat, that were neither force-fed nor plucked alive.
Temperature rating use
Our jackets are tested in a climatic chamber in a lab, allowing us to determine recommended usage temperatures. For moderate activity (in 5 km/h wind), this jacket is suitable for temperatures up to -29°C.
Pockets and sacks
This jacket contains: 2 outer hand pockets 2 outer chest pockets accessible when wearing a harness + 1 patch pocket inside, one of these is for slipping in your phone 2 mesh net pocket inside jacket to keep your 2nd pair of gloves or flask warm 1 stuff sack for storing jacket on mountain excursions
Down hood designed for wearing over your mountaineering helmet, adjustable with 2 systems at front and rear of jacket
Reinforced forearms
Durable component has been selected to reinforce jacket's forearms. When climbing these areas are used heavily, and as such the component used is sturdier than that of the main jacket.
Score to compare the environmental impact of products
The environmental impact of the product is calculated over its entire life cycle and with different indicators. An overall score (ABCDE) is attributed to help you easily identify the products with the best environmental performance by comparing products of the same type with one another (T-shirts, trousers, backpacks, etc.). Decathlon chose to apply this voluntary environmental labelling scheme. For more information:

Used in arctic exped and Kyrg exped winter. Great.

Have used this for a season on various winter splitboarding trips. Been down to -25c and was toasty warm where friends were shivering in other brands. Love this coat. Packs small. Light enough to bring everywhere.

    Very comfortable, lightweight and protective

I have used this duck down jacket for 2 winter seasons in Boston, US and northeastern states. The temperature often goes below -20 degree C in winter here. The design of this jacket is so perfect that I absolutely didn't face any issues during winter with this jacket on. Sometimes I would just wear a half sleeve shirt inside and still would feel comfortable. The only drawback is, this jacket is NOT waterproof/ water-resistant. It'll get soaked in water quickly, which would be undesirable. So, you may have to remove the accumulated snow over it (during snowstorms etc). I also have washed this jacket in a laundromat washer and dryer. No issues there too.
