2017 : French lead vice-champion

In 2017, Tanguy Topin achieved a remarkable feat by becoming the French lead climbing vice-champion.

2023 : "Takamine" in Bionnassay

In January 2023, Tanguy Topin climbed his first 9a on rock with Takamine at Bionnassay, a 60-move overhanging route on schist. This marked the fourth known ascent of the route, originally established by Cédric Lachat in 2016.

2019 : Podium - French Bouldering Championship

Tanguy Topin is a French climber and coach. A former French lead climbing vice-champion in 2017, he currently coaches at the French climbing development center (pôle espoir). He pecialises in athletic coordination and performance optimization and climbed his first 9a in Bionnassay. He co-created the Bike to Eight project where he took on the challenge of completing five 8a routes in a single day, traveling between crags by bike, promoting an eco-responsible approach to climbing.
