"You have to be humble in the nature and accept that she is the one who decides. In her presence, we are not much. It is important to recognize your vulnerability and not to charge ahead without fear. But once you accept that, you feel a sense of greatness, a very powerful connection."

- Charline Palomares | French naturalist living in Sweden

The Tundra is a world of shifting extremes, where pouring rain and glacial winds test the limits of human endurance. To capture the silence of the wild, Charline and Lionel move with the right equipment to turn the freeze into a mere detail, keeping their focus entirely on the encounter.

Their camp is anchored by a tunnel tent built to withstand the storm and a high R-value mattress that isolates the cold. Inside, a 0°C down sleeping bag provides the warmth needed for recovery, while their ventilated packs carry every essential with precision. This is more than equipment; it is a promise of reliability in the North.

"Bivouacking provides an incredible sense of well-being because you learn to provide for your own needs: you find shelter, you create warmth, and you eat a hot meal. You are responsible for your own life."

- Lionel Prado | French adventurer based in Sweden

"Our boundaries are in our minds. You can train all you want—run, do trail, or hit the gym—but if you don’t have the mental strength, you won’t last on an adventure."

- Charline Palomares
