UPPER
breathable lorica® synthetic leather (flexible and precise) in forefoot areas, leather upper. Fastens with two rip-tabs.
SIZING RECOMMENDATIONS
If you are a climber working to improve your skills, you can buy them tighter (1/2 -1 size below normal, for example), but it's important they don't hurt, so that your foot can develop mobility, proprioception, and strength. If you are an advanced climber, we suggest you take the time to try different sizes (1 to 2 sizes below normal) to find the best compromise between comfort and compression for more force when pushing off.
CARE INSTRUCTIONS
Our first tip is to never machine wash your shoes. Thermal and mechanical pressure could damage them. We recommend that you wash them by hand, either with a sponge soaked in clean water or with a sponge soaked in soapy water (Marseille soap), being sure to air-dry them at a stable temperate and avoid drying them on a radiator or in full sunlight. We recommend washing them regularly to increase the life span of the shoes.
RESOLING TIPS
The sole bushing wears out quickly when climbing. For regular climbers, the life of the bushings is generally 6 months to 1 year. This depends on many factors (type of rock, climbing style, types of routes, etc.). As soon as you see the synthetic leather through the bushings, you must get them resoled. If you pierce the synthetic leather, resoling will be difficult. Our Decathlon workshops offer resoling services to extend the life of your shoes.

Good value, but lose shape and become soft

I wear an 8.5 street size and bought these in an 8 as an upgrade on the rock+ shoes. originally they gave me more precision and i could stand on little edges and chips but they have since gone quite soft and lost downturn. now they are good for smearing on grit and volumes in gym, but i need some stiffer shoes so i don’t break my toes on little edges. also they lost their shape and downturn very quickly.

    Comparable performance to sportiva Miura

I bought a pair 7 months ago and love the performance, they run on the narrow side and it a little painful but the performance is amazing, I have my super expensive sportiva Miura XX and can say that some time I feel better with the vertika. The only problem is lack of durability, the construction is far war worse than any sportiva shoes, but the difference in price worth it!!

    Vertika Shoes

I always used La Sportiva Miura VS, but I didn't want to spend so much money for a pair of shoes to use it in the climbing gym. I discovered a really really good shoe so similar to the Miura VS. The Vertika are really confortable, precise and with a really good price. Can't wait to try it outdoor.
