Additional information

Number of studs:
- 12 point crampons: 2 front points, 7 side points, and 3 retaining points. - Asymmetrical crampons: 3 inner points on each foot are lined up for maximum traction on overhang. 3 exterior points follow contours of boot shape to provide a good level of stability.
Binding system:
- Semi-automatic binding system: straps at the front, heel welts at back. - Compatible with boots with heel welts.
Size adjustment:
- Adjusts to boot sizes from 35 to 48. - Size adjustment using the centre bar + strip/stud. - Crampons adjust by default to smaller to medium size boots (without bar sticking out at the back). For larger feet, its front clasp can be shifted to change its position.
- Crampons are supplied with anti-bot plates. They help to prevent build up of snow under the crampons for safer climbing.
Crampon bag:
- Crampons are supplied with a crampon bag.
Rust resistant:
- Rust resistant surface treatment on all metallic parts.

    Die Steigeisen machen was sie sollen, sie nicht schlecht.
    Allerdings sind sie nur relativ grob einstellbar und ziemlich groß im Rucksack.
    Andere Hersteller lösen das besser.

    Gutes Material.

    Gutes Material. leicht anzulegen und anzupassen. Habe schon so ähnliche Steigeisen (anderer Hersteller). Diese neigen nach zwei Jahren Gebrauch, auch im kombinierten Gelände, jetzt zur Stollenbildung. Antistollplatte lässt sich nicht gut wechseln und kein Ersatz erhältlich. Mal sehen wie sich die von Simond bewähren.
