Favorite place

Saint Léger du Ventoux, Buoux, the Calanques, Kalymnos… But I love travelling and exploring new spots.

Best moment

Rock climbing: equipping, working the route, the specific training for, making attempt after attempt, and finally linking up 'Robi in the sky' at the Grotte des Goudes (yet to be repeated!). The competitions I've won, especially the very first World Sports Climbing Championship in Frankfurt in 1991, and my last win in Serre Chevalier in 2002.

Buddha for getting away from it all. 'Le chemin le moins fréquenté' ('The Road Less Traveled') by Scott Peck. Good Will Hunting.
