Espace Comboire, Grenoble's no. 1 climbing spot!!! Ok, more seriously: the Oisans and Chamonix for the mountains. St Léger du Ventoux is a must for rock climbing.

Best moment

The summit of Caraz II in Peru (Cordillera Blanca). Not a particularly impressive performance but it was so unexpected, given the month of hard work that went before it.
